Follow the White Rabbit into a month of stories, songs, nature study, creativity, and curious adventures inspired by Lewis Carroll’s beloved classic.
Welcome to Wonderland!
This September, Once Upon a Storybook Club is stepping through the little door and into the wonderfully nonsensical world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
We’ll follow Alice chapter by chapter as she tumbles down the rabbit hole, swims through a pool of tears, meets a mysterious Caterpillar, takes tea with the Mad Hatter, plays croquet with the Queen of Hearts, dances the Lobster Quadrille, and finally discovers just how much courage she has found along the way.
And, as always, we won’t only be reading the story.
We’ll listen, sing, write, draw, play, investigate, create, and head outdoors, using the book as the beginning of our adventure rather than the end of it.

📚 The Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Storybook Guide
The heart of our Wonderland study is the Storybook Guide, created for children who are ready to go beyond the Early Learner activities and dig more deeply into the story.
Rather than turning a beautiful book into a pile of schoolwork, the guide is designed to help children notice more, wonder more, and interact with what they are reading.
Each of the twelve chapters has its own collection of activities.
Inside you’ll find:
Original illustration studies and inquisitive questions
Listen & Answer comprehension
Words to Know and vocabulary practice
Word puzzles
Quotes and copywork
Creative writing
Creative drawing
Order of Events activities
Interactive chapter activities
Curiosity Club nature studies
Story-inspired coloring pages
Children might investigate the life cycle of a butterfly after meeting the Caterpillar, study real flamingos after visiting the Queen’s croquet ground, learn about sea turtles and lobsters beside the Mock Turtle and Gryphon, or head outdoors to search for evidence that wild animals have passed through.
There is no expectation that every page must be completed.
Choose what interests your child. Skip what doesn’t. Follow the rabbit trails that appear along the way.
Choose Your Wonderland Guide
Every child can follow the White Rabbit.
The Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland collection includes two complete printable guides, designed for different stages of learning. Families can choose the guide that best fits their child—or use both together when learning with multiple ages.
🐇 The Early Learner’s Guide
Preschool & Kindergarten
Created especially for our youngest Storybook Club members, the Early Learner’s Guide introduces Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland through simple, playful activities appropriate for preschool and kindergarten.
Children can enjoy the story while practicing early learning skills through activities inspired by Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and the wonderfully curious world of Wonderland.
The emphasis is on learning through story and play—with approachable activities children can complete alongside an adult while listening to or reading the book together.

📖 The Storybook Guide
For Growing Readers & Writers
For children ready to explore the story more deeply, the Storybook Guide follows all twelve chapters of Lewis Carroll’s original book.
Each chapter becomes its own little study, with opportunities for children to listen carefully, examine the original illustrations, build vocabulary, sequence events, solve word puzzles, write and draw creatively, explore hands-on ideas, and venture outdoors with Curiosity Club nature studies.
Rather than simply testing whether children remember the story, the guide encourages them to look closely, think, wonder, create, and explore.
There is no need to complete every page. Choose the activities that suit your child and follow their curiosity wherever it leads.

🌿 Curiosity Club
Wonderland may be imaginary, but many of its inhabitants are very real.
Throughout the Storybook Guide, Curiosity Club takes us away from the worksheet and into the natural world.
We’ll investigate creatures and natural wonders connected to Alice’s adventures and practice looking closely at the world around us.
Because sometimes the best rabbit hole really does begin with a rabbit.
🎩 Wonderland Companion Activities
Some parts of Wonderland simply have to be played.
Our companion activity collection brings the story off the page with games, scavenger hunts, imaginative play, and hands-on activities inspired by Alice’s adventures.
Activities include:

🎵 The Music of Wonderland
Stories have a way of staying with us differently when we sing them.
Our original Wonderland songs bring characters, scenes, poetry, and ideas from the book into music children can enjoy long after the chapter has ended.
Play them while you color. Sing them in the car. Dance around the kitchen. Put them on during your Mad Tea Party.
Releasing September 1st, 2026
🐇 Choose Your Own Way Through Wonderland
You don’t need an elaborate lesson plan.
