In this episode of Once Upon a Storytime Podcast,, we continue Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll with Chapter 4, “The Rabbit Sends in a Little Bill,” where another unexpected change in size lands Alice in a rather uncomfortable situation.
Join Alice as the White Rabbit mistakes her for his housemaid, Mary Ann, and sends her hurrying into his little house to fetch his gloves and fan. But when Alice finds another mysterious bottle and begins to grow, she soon becomes so enormous that she is completely stuck inside the Rabbit’s house. Outside, the White Rabbit gathers a curious crowd and sends poor Bill the Lizard down the chimney to investigate—with rather surprising results.
Filled with magical transformations, frantic plans, curious creatures, and plenty of Wonderland mischief, this chapter finds Alice once again trying to solve a very big problem in a world where nothing seems to stay the proper size for long.
