“In this fable, a young kid (a baby goat) is alone on a roof while its mother is away. A hungry wolf, seeing an opportunity, approaches and tries to deceive the kid by pretending to be friendly and offering to play. The kid, wise and cautious, responds by asking the wolf to come back when his mother is present. The wolf, frustrated by the kid’s cleverness and refusal to be tricked, eventually leaves. The story illustrates the importance of being cautious and not easily swayed by deceptive flattery.”
